If you are doing the Mother's Day Poem that starts with "IF it weren't for your Mom," I have noticed that there is one thing missing in every draft. If you look at the criteria, it says If It Weren’t For You – this poetry form addresses those love/hate and joy that are in every relationship. Each line addresses those connections. Line 1: If it weren’t for you, Mom, Line 2: I’d never have OR I wouldn’t have; Repeat Lines 1 & a new line 2 statement...repeat these 3 times! Second last line: But if it weren’t for you, You'll see where it says "repeat these 3 times." That means that you should have 10 lines altogether. Hope this helps!
