The tentative plan (this means not for sure yet) is to have students write it virtually at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 29th. This test is a competition, with the winner typically receiving a medal at the Grade 7 Farewell Ceremony. Obviously we cannot do that this year, but the winner will get bragging rights:) Please complete this survey about the Gauss Test. https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=z-m0CBOBDUK6B1L31N-KzdcvaciUDGtNvdXyNKDxqUZUMktIU1ZIRTlGRVU3S0ozMUZQOEc4TTVDUy4u Blog Instructions 1) Read, reflect, think, discuss with parents, siblings, friends the blog post found on the class website blog page 2) Write a thoughtful response ensuring you have met the criteria (see above in the header of this page) and post to the page 3) The next day or right away, reply to the post above yours giving them feedback using the criteria found in the banner (top of page) on Blog page. The first question and last question on today's quiz have the wrong answer in the answer key so if you get it wrong, it's a ME problem, not a YOU problem. I'll ensure they are fixed when I go through and mark. Hey Team! We are at the end of Week 6 and you are doing well. You have a lot to be proud of. A couple of things: 1. Down below in the picture, your homework is listed for the weekend. Please ensure it is completed. 2. Several of you have requested a rewrite for the math test. We will do the rewrite on TUESDAY (remember Monday is a holiday). If you have not already done so, send me an email to let me know you would like to do it. HOWEVER, in order to do the rewrite, you MUST come to the math help group today at 11:00 am in our usual meeting spot. If you cannot make that time, contact me in the morning via email or the Teams chat. Many of you who struggled did not come to "If I was going to study" or any of the math help groups. You need to take some ownership in order to do this rewrite. Anyone can rewrite who asks and comes tomorrow at 11:00. Reminder: Monday is Victoria Day so there's no school Math: in Week 6 (May 11-15) folder find the "Math May 15th" and mark yesterday's math; take the quiz under "Assignments" before 3pm TODAY. I will NOT be checking on the long weekend who did/did not do or upload the test. It's your responsibly to make sure you write it and turn it in. If you don't, I'll have an extra assignment for you to do on Tuesday. P.E.: in Week 6 (May 11-15) folder, find this week's challenge "Obstacle Course"; due TODAY in FreshGrade Reading: read or listen to it for 20+ mins; fill in survey about your book https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=z-m0CBOBDUK6B1L31N-KzdcvaciUDGtNvdXyNKDxqUZURVEzNjZPTVlIVjY5TU9IVlpDUlJLN0xMOC4u Blog post: ensure your good copy is written and shared Band: practice your instrument as per instructions on Mr. Melnyk's Hillcrest Band Class in Teams P .A.R. : What do you miss most about being in class? |
