Today we revisited our art drafts on which we are creating hand art using warm and cool colours. Some of them are really coming along! I can't wait to see the final copies, which will hopefully be done by Spring Break.

Explain why you think you are most like that character (what you have in common)/ Today the Grade 7's and some Grade 6's had their mid chapter tests for Math. I have finished marking the grade 7 tests and everyone did very, very well! I'm sure the grade 6's were just as successful. What did you find challenging? Give a specific example. Today was an action packed day. Mrs. Wood visited us first thing this morning and we got further into our Circle of Courage. We talked about the importance of being thankful and humble. After recess we got to see Jacob M.'s presentation about Space, followed by a great review of adding integers. Finally, in the afternoon after French, the students uploaded pictures and comments to their FreshGrade portfolios. Parents, feel free to take a look at your child's portfolio with them this evening to see what they have achieved this term!

Afterwards we worked on our Hockey Math as we have fallen behind the last couple of weeks due to the short weeks:)
Tomorrow are our science presentations! We will do them all afternoon until they are completed. I am greatly looking forward to these. Please make sure you have your rubric and everything you need for your presentation. I will have my projector set up for those that need it. Today Division 5 went skating with Division 3 in the morning and we had a great time. The field trip is ON! We will be departing tomorrow morning at 8:15am. Do NOT be late as we will leave without you.
