Today some of Division 2 worked on their FSA written test while others worked on their Halloween stories or studied for tomorrow's Math Celebration of Learning. Ok, it's a math test, but Celebration sounds way more fun, doesn't it? During Math we played "If I was going to study" so hopefully students have a good understanding of what will be on the test tomorrow. In the afternoon we talked about our Halloween stories and learned how to use quotation marks and punctuation properly to use dialogue in our writing. Lastly, we learned the differences between then and than; their, there, and they're; and your and you're.
Reminders: Math Celebration of Learning tomorrow!!!! P.A.R.: Post one question about divisibility, Lowest Common Multiples, Greatest Common Factors. Respond to ONE other student. There should not be two answers to the same question! That means that every student should post ONE math question, and every student should respond to ONE other student. For example, "The number 451_8 is divisible by 9. What could numbers could possibly fill the blank spot?"

In the morning we looked at our rubric and criteria sheet for our Halloween stories that will emphasize sensory detail and use of figurative language. In the afternoon we practiced lining up and walking in the halls without talking. We will continue to work on this
