Brrrr, it's a cold one out there! This morning Division 2 was feeling a little empty, starting the day with less than 20 students! We went outside for a frolic in the snow after working on our Touching Spirit Bear projects. Between recess and lunch, we met with all of the grade 7's and discussed the theme and food for the Grade 7 celebration in June. Then we practiced our skills with Orbit Integers, an online game that allowed us to challenge each other in a spaceship race, and by answering questions correctly, we were able to speed to the finish line! The student record to beat is 52.9 seconds. See if you can beat it here https://www.mathplayground.com/ASB_OrbitIntegers.html The teacher score to beat is 51.19! If you can beat my score, take a screenshot and show it to me. Maybe there will be a prize!
Reminders: TSB-Fri, Jan 17 Skating notice - TOMORROW. If your notice is not here tomorrow, or we are unable to find enough drivers, we will need to cancel Thursday's field trip, as our buddy class is also short drivers as well. P.A.R.: What is your favourite Olympic Winter Sport and why? Will you be watching the Olympics next month?
