Today was a busy day for Division 5. In the morning after Daily Practice we wrote a journal about a time that we did something for someone else that went unappreciated. We then brainstormed a list of feelings that come up in a scenario like that (listed in the photo above). It really showed how our actions, even small ones, can affect other people in a negative way. Lillian also made an excellent connection to the Circle of Courage and how all of these feelings would be on the outside of our circle. All of this is related to gratitude. In talking about poverty and those affected by poverty, it is easier to see the things that we take for granted. Recognizing that taking for granted the people around us can make them experience some of the feelings listed above.
