Today the weather was phenomenal so Division 5 spent a lot of time outside enjoying the sunshine. During our Fire Drill this morning our class behaved perfectly! They were so quiet and set a great example for younger students.
This morning we began our Writer's Workshop. Students will be writing their own chapter books over the course of the next few weeks. We began by brainstorming all of the things a good book needs and the students came up with protagonists, antagonists, plot, setting, characters, hooks, storylines/plots, perspective, a problem/solution, and a good title:) Reminders: Please bring your dollar for our Kiva loan by Friday Family Fun Night is Thursday, June 22nd.
