Math: in the Week 7 Math File in Teams, find "Math May 20th” to complete (does not need to be uploaded) Blog post: You should at least be on the “Feedback” part today, giving feedback to the person who posted immediately above you. TED Talks: Read "Introduction to TEDTalks" in Files in Teams; this week’s assignment is to watch and access four TEDTalk videos. The chart can be found in Assignments in Teams and is due on Friday by 3pm Reading: go to Files in Teams and read "Book Trailer 2020"; read or listen to a novel for 20+ mins. You need to fill out the “May Reading Project” survey so that I know what book you are choosing for this project. It’s only 1:21 long (a little over a minute). We do it in our house a few times a day! Try it a couple of times if you are feeling motivated. Band: Please reply to the questions in discussion on Mr. Melnyk's Hillcrest Band Class in Teams Gauss Test: Just a heads up that we are planning on enabling students to write the Gauss Test this year despite being in a remote learning environment. The tentative plan (this means not for sure yet) is to have students write it virtually at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 29th. This test is a competition, with the winner typically receiving a medal at the Grade 7 Farewell Ceremony. Obviously we cannot do that this year, but the winner will get bragging rights:) Please complete this survey about the Gauss Test. https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=z-m0CBOBDUK6B1L31N-KzdcvaciUDGtNvdXyNKDxqUZUMktIU1ZIRTlGRVU3S0ozMUZQOEc4TTVDUy4u Blog Instructions 1) Read, reflect, think, discuss with parents, siblings, friends the blog post found on the class website blog page 2) Write a thoughtful response ensuring you have met the criteria (see above in the header of this page) and post to the page 3) The next day or right away, reply to the post above yours giving them feedback using the criteria found in the banner (top of page) on Blog page.
