Today our class discussed the importance of completing homework as assigned. We have started to lose focus in some areas and it is really important for the students (and myself) to keep our focus. Before lunch we had the exciting chance to watch Lillian and Madison dancing in Riesa, Germany via a livestream! We have heard that they made it through to the Semi-Finals...go Team Canada! In the afternoon we learned about scales and how we use them to look at the size of the universe. It was pretty crazy to think that the sun is the size of 100 Earths! Math 6: Finish your Dividing Decimals worksheet Math 7: See your teachers' website. FreshGrade: If you did not read the announcement yesterday, do so today. Read both. Ensure that you click on both announcements so that I can see that you've read it. Reminders: Scholastic book orders for November are due November 30th. Peachwave order forms need to be in by Friday, November 25th. P.A.R.: The six people that checked the FreshGrade announcement last night only have to do number 3. Thank you for staying on top of your homework. For everyone else: 1. How do you feel so far about using Freshgrade? Write a minimum of 3 sentences, telling me what you like, dislike, and would change about how we use FreshGrade. 2. Write down one thing you learned about in the space video we watched this afternoon. Also write down one thing that you wonder about(minimum two full sentences here). 3. Write down one thing you thought was really cool about the dance performance that we watched today with Lillian and Madison in it. 4. Research the Kepler Space telescope. Look at ONE of the many things that the Kepler Space telescope has discovered and write a paragraph about it. Minimum 5 sentences.
