This morning Division 2 worked really hard on their drafts for their spooky Halloween stories! They are utilizing figurative language like similes and metaphors, as well as sensory details (taste, smell, sound, etc.) to draw their audience into their stories.
After recess we learned how to add and subtract decimals, although for many this was review. In the afternoon, we learned about Independence and how we can demonstrate independence to build our understanding of our identity. After that, our band students went off to band and everyone else stayed in class and worked on their Art Passion projects! Why do you think Grayson is able to get into character so easily at rehearsal? 2. Why does wearing the t-shirts and necklace help Grayson feel like himself? 3. Make a prediction about what is going to happen next in the story. Think about Ryan and Tyler, Sebastian, Paige, and of course Grayson.
